Soap Box Derby 9:30 am

Kids 6-14 years old needed -- soap box cars provided!  The Soap Box Derby is a two-kid team race; one kid pushes and the other steers, then they switch places. New this year is a prize for best decorated helmet.  So kids -- find a teammate and register today.  Participants must register by Monday, May 27; forms are available at Savoury's, 79 Bolton Street, and at Bobcaygeon Public School.  Signed parental or legal guardian waiver is required.  All teams must be present at 9:45 am on race day to be eligible to participate.  Helmets required; $1 donation to help maintain cars for next year's race.

 

Kids’ Zone at the Locks 1 - 4 pm

Featuring Zoo to you exotic animals, bungee run, face painting, pet-a-bunny, balloon fun, bounce house, Pop Corn Galore benefiting Bobcaygeon Helps Food Bank, Globus Theatre kids' theatre, crafts from Settlers' Village, boating safety from Buckeye Surf & Snow and Boating Ontario.  Admission is $5 per kid, maximum is $10 per family. Kids under 5 are free.
